"[A]ll experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed." These words from the Declaration of Independence should ring true today. Most American have stood by over the last few decades, watching while governments at all levels have have taken over our lives and destroyed our liberty. These attacks on our liberty are not limited by political party or branch of government. What they do have in common is a singular objective.
"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security." The object of these laws, rules, regulations, and general abuse of the American people is easy to see. It is to reduce us from a free people to subjects under the despotic rule of those in government. While the American people have suffered patiently, waiting for someone to save us, it has become abundantly clear that we no one is coming.
"Such has been the patient sufferance of these [States]; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government." It is now abundantly clear that the only hope the American people have to regain their freedom and liberty is to alter our governments. The only question left is, will it be by election or revolution? - Live 4PM ET with Host Paul Engel @CyberEngelLIVE http://rdo.to/TALKLOUD

Who is in charge of your children? That has been a perennial question that has grown in importance over the last few years. When I was a child, it was understood that, with rare exceptions, parents were in charge of a child’s upbringing. This included medical, religious, and educational decisions. However, over the last few decades, the role of the parent in these decisions has been replaced by experts. What happens when the goal of the experts differs from those of the parents? Who decides the future of the rising generations? It was understood that the state acted in loco parentis, in place of the parents, only for the safety of the child. A recent case in U.S. District Court shows that be it health departments, child services, schools, or even the courts. Government not only believes they know better than the parents, they are more than willing to act in loco parentis tyrannis.

With the release of ChatGPT and other artificial intelligence (AI) applications, there has been a lot of speculation and downright assertions about our future. With over 30 years of experience in Information Technology (IT), not more than a passing understanding of AIs, I've come to the conclusion that much of what I've heard is more science fiction than fact. A recent court case decided in the D.C. District Court revolved around one very important question. Do AIs have rights?
In this third installment of the three-part series on the branches of government, we look at the role of the third and weakest branch. At least that is what our Founding Fathers thought of it. What is the role of the federal judiciary? What are the extent of their powers, how do they related to the other two branches of government, and why is a proper understanding of the role of the judiciary critical if the United States is to remain a constitutional republic?

We may have different ideas about the purpose of government, but I think a close look will show that it’s all about the money. - Live 4PM ET with Host Paul Engel @CyberEngel @OutLoudNews

Contrary to what the Supreme Court believed in both the Roe and Dobbs decisions, the question of abortion has not been settled in the United States. The case of First Choice v. Davenport shows just how far some states will go to oppose the pro-life movement.

Happy Memorial Day! I hope you take some time today to thank the family of our fallen heros. Because it’s not just the soldier, sailor, airman, or marine who has given the last full measure of devotion, but their families as well. - Live 4PM ET with Host Paul Engel @CyberEngel @OutLoudNews
