As a child of the Cold War, I remember Yuri Bezmenov and his warnings about how the Soviet Union was attempting to overturn the American republic. When I found a video of his interview, I was not only reminded about his warnings, but saw how the same techniques are being used today to subvert liberty in America.
This time, though, it’s not just foreign actors who are attempting to overturn the Constitution, but Americans who are trying to replace the land of the free with the home of the enslaved.
After a quick trip down memory lane, we get a better idea of how the American people have fallen to a state where they will believe anything, follow any directive from government, and continue to listen to the media that has proven to be lying to us for so long.
In 1984 we were worried about the Soviet Union and Communism. Today, we have so many more entities attacking us, both foreign and domestic. But their goal appears to be the same, destroy self-government in favor of a ruling elite.

Who is in charge of your children? That has been a perennial question that has grown in importance over the last few years. When I was a child, it was understood that, with rare exceptions, parents were in charge of a child’s upbringing. This included medical, religious, and educational decisions. However, over the last few decades, the role of the parent in these decisions has been replaced by experts. What happens when the goal of the experts differs from those of the parents? Who decides the future of the rising generations? It was understood that the state acted in loco parentis, in place of the parents, only for the safety of the child. A recent case in U.S. District Court shows that be it health departments, child services, schools, or even the courts. Government not only believes they know better than the parents, they are more than willing to act in loco parentis tyrannis.

Does anyone who is born on our land automatically receive citizenship? Not according to the Fourteenth Amendment, but that hasn’t stopped the courts from messing this up. Which is exactly what I expect from the Supreme Court in the case Trump v. Barbara.
