I shouldn’t be amazed anymore when I see people who think they are free acting like slaves. The examples are voluminous, and sadly keep growing. What do I mean?
Look at how many people are waiting for the federal government to do something for them. I have examples from East Palestine, OH to depositors at the Silicon Valley Bank, from student loan holders to social security recipients, not to mention all of those who locked down, masked up, and shot up, waiting for the all clear from their feds, these people were not deciding for themselves. No, they were, and still are, waiting for government take care of them. Meanwhile, with their ego exploding with unearned, and in fact illegal powers, we see more and more representatives and bureaucrats acting like masters on a plantation than servants of the people. And if that weren’t bad enough, I’m watching more a more people volunteering to be taken care of by government. Just as the cattle line up for the big surprise at the slaughter house, more and more Americans are voluntarily lining up to board the slave ship that America is becoming. Will you join the herd, or will you live as a free person? - Live 4PM ET with Host Paul Engel @CyberEngel

Who is in charge of your children? That has been a perennial question that has grown in importance over the last few years. When I was a child, it was understood that, with rare exceptions, parents were in charge of a child’s upbringing. This included medical, religious, and educational decisions. However, over the last few decades, the role of the parent in these decisions has been replaced by experts. What happens when the goal of the experts differs from those of the parents? Who decides the future of the rising generations? It was understood that the state acted in loco parentis, in place of the parents, only for the safety of the child. A recent case in U.S. District Court shows that be it health departments, child services, schools, or even the courts. Government not only believes they know better than the parents, they are more than willing to act in loco parentis tyrannis.

With the release of ChatGPT and other artificial intelligence (AI) applications, there has been a lot of speculation and downright assertions about our future. With over 30 years of experience in Information Technology (IT), not more than a passing understanding of AIs, I've come to the conclusion that much of what I've heard is more science fiction than fact. A recent court case decided in the D.C. District Court revolved around one very important question. Do AIs have rights?
In this third installment of the three-part series on the branches of government, we look at the role of the third and weakest branch. At least that is what our Founding Fathers thought of it. What is the role of the federal judiciary? What are the extent of their powers, how do they related to the other two branches of government, and why is a proper understanding of the role of the judiciary critical if the United States is to remain a constitutional republic?

Just when you thought the conspiracy theories would end, a whole new crop pops us. Did Biden “sign” all those pardons? Who was behind Russia-Gate? Did the United States help start the COVID pandemic? Today, we look into some updates on these and other conspiracies, and we answer a few questions as well. - Live 4PM ET with Host Paul Engel @CyberEngel @OutLoudNews

A recent article asked an interesting question, “Why So Many Young Americans Fall for Socialism?” I think I have the answer, it’s the magician’s trick. Get people to focus on one hand while the magician does the trick with the other hand. When I was young, we had a term for this, the old “bait and switch”. - Live 4PM ET with Host Paul Engel @CyberEngel @OutLoudNews

Winston Churchill said 'In wartime, truth is so precious that she should always be attended by a bodyguard of lies.' But what about in peacetime? Why is the truth so often protected then? Today, I want to look at a few news items to see if the truth has come out, or is it still being guarded by lies. - Live 4PM ET with Host Paul Engel @CyberEngel @OutLoudNews
