Have you heard the saying, “Be kind to your children; they will choose your nursing home”?
It’s one of many idioms designed to show that the generation we are raising will one day take over from us, which means that training the next generation is one of the most important jobs someone can have.
So who has been raising the latest generations? A little observation leads me to believe it’s not who you think it is.
Vladimir Lenin said, “Give me your four-year-olds, and in a generation, I will build a socialist state.”
You may think this would never happen in America, but it already has. Approximately 90% of American children are educated in government-run schools. Even most private schools and homeschool curricula follow government standards.
This perfectly aligns with Karl Marx’s ideas, who said, “The education of all children, from the moment that they can get along without a mother’s care, shall be in state institutions.”
Look at what is being taught in those government schools and how much time is being spent on it. Civics, history, and independence have been replaced by racism, sexualization, and dependence on the state. What the Marxists could not win by war, they have won by education.

Who is in charge of your children? That has been a perennial question that has grown in importance over the last few years. When I was a child, it was understood that, with rare exceptions, parents were in charge of a child’s upbringing. This included medical, religious, and educational decisions. However, over the last few decades, the role of the parent in these decisions has been replaced by experts. What happens when the goal of the experts differs from those of the parents? Who decides the future of the rising generations? It was understood that the state acted in loco parentis, in place of the parents, only for the safety of the child. A recent case in U.S. District Court shows that be it health departments, child services, schools, or even the courts. Government not only believes they know better than the parents, they are more than willing to act in loco parentis tyrannis.

With the release of ChatGPT and other artificial intelligence (AI) applications, there has been a lot of speculation and downright assertions about our future. With over 30 years of experience in Information Technology (IT), not more than a passing understanding of AIs, I've come to the conclusion that much of what I've heard is more science fiction than fact. Just when you think DOGE has gotten to the bottom of the barrel, they find more barrel. I’d say “If you want to get out of a hole, stop digging.” But I’ve been so happy at all of the waste, fraud, and abuse that’s been discovered. The United States is supposed to be a nation of laws, not of men. However, over the decades, the laws of this nation have been taken over not only by bureaucrats and politicians, but by judges. Judges who, by the way, almost always place the opinions of other judges above the supreme law of the land.
