People have been trying to promote a Collectivist agenda on America for decades. Call is Marxism, Leninism, Socialism, or any of the dozen or so other names, they all boil down to government deciding what is best for the collective. After decades of trying to convince the American people that collectivism is the future, their failure has led to a new tactic, forcing them.
Take for example what happened this past weekend in New Mexico. After decades of trying to control who is allowed to posses the weapons necessary to security of a free state, Governor Grisham attempts to wipe away not only the Second Amendment, but the entire constitutions of both the United States and New Mexico. California takes another step toward bullying parents into letting their children be indoctrinated with Marxist sexuality, while Alabama wants people to once again bow the knee to the false god of masking. Then of course, we have the Biden administration seeming to go out of its way to trample the Constitution and the oath they took to support it.

Who is in charge of your children? That has been a perennial question that has grown in importance over the last few years. When I was a child, it was understood that, with rare exceptions, parents were in charge of a child’s upbringing. This included medical, religious, and educational decisions. However, over the last few decades, the role of the parent in these decisions has been replaced by experts. What happens when the goal of the experts differs from those of the parents? Who decides the future of the rising generations? It was understood that the state acted in loco parentis, in place of the parents, only for the safety of the child. A recent case in U.S. District Court shows that be it health departments, child services, schools, or even the courts. Government not only believes they know better than the parents, they are more than willing to act in loco parentis tyrannis.
