What is a perversion? According to Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary is “to cause to turn aside or away from what is good or true or morally right”. Sounds an awful lot like what’s been going on in America, in the world lately.
Look at what our society is going to our children. We are turning them into sex objects for the pleasure of adults. We are deluding them for our own agenda, then destroying the futures of many to reinforce that delusions. We may shake our heads when people are injured, won’t raise a finger to stop it.
How many are cheering on the personal attack of others, simply because they disagree with them. What are we, as a society, willing to endorse to avoid any challenge to what we believe?
We claim to be the land of the free, yet most Americans are sitting by and watching while those freedoms are being destroyed. We call ourselves the home of the brave, yet most American are too afraid to stand up against injustice. We, as a society, have turned away from what is good, true, and morally right. How comfortable we have become with perversion that we can sleep at night with injustice. Or are we just praying that the perversion of justice will attack our fellow man, rather than ourselves? Who is in charge of your children? That has been a perennial question that has grown in importance over the last few years. When I was a child, it was understood that, with rare exceptions, parents were in charge of a child’s upbringing. This included medical, religious, and educational decisions. However, over the last few decades, the role of the parent in these decisions has been replaced by experts. What happens when the goal of the experts differs from those of the parents? Who decides the future of the rising generations? It was understood that the state acted in loco parentis, in place of the parents, only for the safety of the child. A recent case in U.S. District Court shows that be it health departments, child services, schools, or even the courts. Government not only believes they know better than the parents, they are more than willing to act in loco parentis tyrannis.

With the release of ChatGPT and other artificial intelligence (AI) applications, there has been a lot of speculation and downright assertions about our future. Just when you think DOGE has gotten to the bottom of the barrel, they find more barrel. I’d say “If you want to get out of a hole, stop digging.” But I’ve been so happy at all of the waste, fraud, and abuse that’s been discovered. The United States is supposed to be a nation of laws, not of men. However, over the decades, the laws of this nation have been taken over not only by bureaucrats and politicians, but by judges. Judges who, by the way, almost always place the opinions of other judges above the supreme law of the land.
